Delicious lunch and great service. Veggies were charred right, bread and rice was tasty, the meats were flavorful and had good texture. Looking to seeing more of you in Northern Virginia.
Newly opened Afghan restaurant and this is my second time ordering the boneless chicken kabobs. Only change I made was getting the spinach on my first visit and chickpeas for my second visit. I am favoring the chickpeas over the spinach. The rice served with the meal has julienne carrots and raisins, which add a nice sweetness. Most places serve the plain rice rather than the traditional Afghan rice dish. The chicken is tender and flavorful and I plan to try the lamb kabobs on my next visit and possibly some other dishes. The two gentlemen are very friendly and inviting. Definitely on my recommend list.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Food was fresh, good portion sizes, very flavorful all the way around. We got the veggie kebab and veggie falafel platters- great vegetarian options! Both came with freshly baked bread and the best cooked chickpeas.
So delicious. Stopped in while on the road and was pleasantly surprised. The boneless chicken kabob platter was flavorful, freshly made, and generous in portion size. I also got a side of fries to go with the rice and salad; the seasoning was SO good. Definitely adding this spot to my list!

Went for the first time and it was AMAZING! 10/10 service and food! We got a combo kabob and boneless chicken kabob platter. Comes with a delicious sauce and pita. Also love the ambiance. Owner took the time to bring us out some green tea imported from their country and cake samples made in house and it did not disappoint. The hospitality and charisma they had made our experience enjoyable. Will definitely be back.
Went in for lunch while working in the area. Was about to order from the kiosk but I had questions. An electrifying and ultra friendly man came from the back. He assisted me with ordering and allowed me to customize my lunch order. The food came out hot and super delicious! The portion was generous and the chickpeas are to die for! If only I could make this Afghan food myself at home!! I ordered the chicken kebabs with no rice extra salad!! Omg! So good!! I’ll definitely be back especially since I have to work in the area 2x/week!
We were a party of three, just wanted a quick bite, and decided to try this local spot, and it was great. The food was tasty, and the prices were good for how much you got. We got right in, so we were in and out. You should check it out if you want a quick, flavorful meal.

The food was truly exceptional. We ordered the Chicken and Kubeidah Kabobs, both of which were perfectly seasoned and cooked, tender, and incredibly tasty. They were served alongside delicious rice and tender chickpeas. We also enjoyed a savory side of Baingan (eggplant), which was a wonderful addition. But the absolute highlight of the afternoon was the freshly baked whole wheat naan! Seeing it come straight out of the Tandoor oven gave it the perfect authentic texture and flavor—it’s seriously the best naan I’ve had in a long time. If you are looking for authentic, flavorful kabobs and warm, friendly service in the Woodbridge area, put Smoki Kabobs at the top of your list!
Anjay, is very friendly, and happy to serve his customers! Our portion was very large and the food was perfect. The basmati rice was moist and seasoned well. The kabob chicken was made to tender perfection, and flavored very well! The chick peas were soft and seasoned very well. The naan was fluffy and not thin and dry, it was good! The dipping sauces were excellently made, the flavors were fresh and added that umami to the meal. Inside the store is welcoming, with a kiosk for ordering. It was simple to order! We bought the family meal that came up to like 57.00, and in our case, could feed 8-10 people. I think we were spoiled today! So this is why my star rating is this high. This is the best Afghan food that I’ve tasted so far.
